Journal #2 Reliance on Technology
It took me nearly half an hour before I was happy with a topic for my research paper. It still could change, but for now I think that the reliance and dependence on technology in society is not a terrible problem. In reality technology has helped us in numerous areas of our everyday lives. Most of us, my generation in particular, have never known life without technology. When it comes down to it though is could we function as a society if we lost our technology. What happens when we do not have our cell phones, computers, electricity, debit cards, credit cards, and the list could go on forever. All of these things make life easier but not even 50 years ago we would be using a check book and pen to pay our fee at the store. I am sure we could over come the lose but for any length of time I do not think so. It is now too much a part of our everyday lives to just lose and go on without. I think this topic has many different areas to also delve deeper into or find a specific segment to research. I am sure some of the Technology professors or other professionals on school grounds could give me insight and answer questions that are related to this topic.

First Blog and two days off from work

I have been busy with just attending classes and working at Pita Pit that it has taken me until 1:45AM to start this blog. However, I have been quietly awaiting the weekend in which I only work on Saturday so that I can watch the Colts on Sunday in peace. Finally the Colts are getting recognition they deserve for not just this year but I would say the last decade. The Indiana Pacers are now the laughing stock of the NBA even though only a few years ago they were playoff contenders. The only professional team in Indiana that has respect is the Colts. Our fans our some of the best and obviously support the team, even in the shakier years. Sunday is going to be an awesome game and I hope that we win. I do not want to hear anymore trash talk from my roommate who hails from New Jersey.
